Nana & Papa had scheduled a visit to see us in Minnesota so I decided to take the kids home with them for a longer visit. The kids did great on the plane - thanks Nana for the helping hand!
Papa spent all weekend entertaining - there's not much he won't do to make the kids laugh. Riley was particularly enthralled with a rabbit-in-the-hat puppet and the Little Tikes basketball hoop.
Evie was happy to play doctor and takes baths in the 'big tub downstairs', i.e. the jacuzzi. Nana is an excellent post-bath cuddler.
We got to spend some time with Grandy at her house - the kids loved watching the dogs run outside although it took them awhile to be okay with watching them up close. They warmed up, though!
Later in the week, it was actually warm enough to play outside which the kids loved. At Pepaw and Mimi's house, we did some running in the backyard PLUS, Evie got her nails painted by Mimi. She was in heaven!
Riley was starting to look like one of the guys.
It was a good visit despite some ear infections and two trips to urgent care. Those kids are troopers and won't let some runny noses keep them from their grandparent time!
