The First One

Well, we're officially bloggers!  Joe saw our friend's blog about their little girl (Hi Kris! Hi Sam! Hi Charis!) and thought it would a good way to chronicle the kids' lives and share those adventures with friends and family out of town (and in town, too, for that matter!).  So, here we go!

At the moment, Evie is teetering on two years old (birthday is June 23rd) and Riley is five months - though you wouldn't guess that to look at him.  They are happy and healthy and we are very lucky parents.  

This morning, I took the kids to storytime at Barnes & Noble where Riley watched the other mommies (mommy comparison shopping, perhaps?) and Evie searched out abandoned cups of animals crackers.  It's a fun outing but Evie isn't quite into sit-down group activities yet.  We walked around afterwards with our friends Aiden (2) and Crystal (his mom) followed by some lunch.  Well, pear and french fries and soymilk for Evie despite other offerings.  We're working on that.
