After dinner Friday night, we thought it would be fun to go up to our local DQ and grab an ice cream come - something Evie has had maybe once before. We ordered her the kiddie cone and she was in love. It was the picture of summer.
Of course, we knew it would get messy but she did a pretty good job with it. Daddy showed her how to lick around the cone to prevent drips.
We tried to get her to head home when she got down to the part of the cone with paper on it but she insisted that there was more...and we couldn't convince her otherwise. She's very compelling!
When we got home, I put Riley to bed while Daddy gave Evie a bath - one good dip in the tub is better than all the Wet Ones you can use. ;)
