On Joe's birthday, we visited the Arboretum which we really wanted Samantha to see since she works part-time for a community garden (sorry if I don't have that right, Sam). I stayed home while Riley finished his nap and then met everyone for lunch.
After eating, we went to visit a few more gardens and Charis wanted to help push Riley in the stroller. She did a great job keeping pace. It was very cute.

We also practiced looking both ways when we crossed the street.

It was a pretty hot day, by Minnesota standards, so we tried to stay in the shade where possible. Riley was in a pretty good spot for that. ;)

The girls had fun traveling the path although they had their own ideas, at times, about which way to go. Holding hands is sometimes an easier proposition when it's someone else's parent.
...but nothing beats horsing around with your own Daddy.
