Since most of Evie's friends are boys, we don't do much dressing up during playdates so we invited our friend Ava over for a little tea party. The girls wore tutu's, ballerina slippers and tiaras (thanks for sharing, Ava!) and it was adorable.

They each brought a 'guest' to the tea party - Evie brought her duckie and Ava brought her doggie. The girls poured tea for their friends and got some sugar-free wafer cookies - that's what you have at tea parties, right?
Halfway through, I decided to venture some real apple juice in their tea cups which had mixed results. The play cups had two tiny holes on one side so it got a bit messy. Of course, Evie was fascinated since we haven't given her real cups very often - guess we need to work on that.
After devouring her three cookies, Evie started hovering around Ava to see if she was going to finish hers. Ava sweetly offered her one and Evie was very excited - she kept saying, "Evie's cookie, Momma! Look!". That girls hasn't met a cookie she hasn't loved. ;)
It was really fun to indulge in the girlie stuff and I think the girls had fun too. ;)
